Printing the document

If you wish to print the document instead of reading it on-screen, the following is to be noted.  The high-resolution (300 dpi) PDF files can be printed on most new laser printers with sufficient memory.  If you have difficulties printing(particularly some pages in Chapter 4 which have many high-resolution photographs grouped together), try the following:

  • print single-sided rather than double-sided (print odd pages first, then flip the paper over and print the even pages on the back side of the paper to obtain "duplex" printing), or
  • print a smaller number pages by specifying page numbers to be printed instead of the entire document to be printed at once (e.g., pages 1-10, 11-20, etc.).
  • print the low-resolution PDF files (100 dpi).
